Hey there! Welcome back to A Good Pour, where we get to share stories about the good work happening all around us. Today, I’m so excited to introduce you to Emma and Fabi, the visionaries behind The Collab—a space that’s all about women supporting women, right here in Hendersonville. If you haven’t heard about The Collab yet, you’re in for a treat.
From Pandemic to Purpose
The story of The Collab starts during a time that felt heavy for so many of us—2021. Social distancing was still in full swing, and Emma found herself craving connection. So, she organized a simple Mom’s Night Out, which turned into something much bigger than she ever expected. That night, she met Fabi, and they realized they shared the same dream: creating a space for women to come together, lift each other up, and thrive.
At first, it was just a dream—a “maybe five years from now” kind of idea. But the more they talked, the more they felt an urgency to make it happen sooner. By May 2023, they opened the doors to The Collab, turning what started as casual gatherings into a full-on community hub.
What The Collab Is All About
The Collab is so much more than just a co-working space. It’s a place where women can connect, collaborate, and grow. Whether you’re an entrepreneur, a remote worker, or someone looking for a supportive space to get things done, The Collab has got you covered. Emma and Fabi built this space with one goal in mind: to create a safe, welcoming environment where women feel seen, heard, and valued. It’s a spot to balance work and life while building connections that matter.
Starting a business for the first time hasn’t been easy for Emma and Fabi, but their passion for building community has been their fuel. From the highs of their grand opening to the challenges that come with running a new business, they’ve stayed grounded in their mission to serve women in Hendersonville.
Growing Together, Supporting Each Other
What I love most about Emma and Fabi is how open they are about their own growth. Both come from corporate backgrounds, but entrepreneurship has taught them so much about themselves—what they’re great at, where they need support, and how to lean on each other in a partnership. They believe that collaboration beats competition every time, and that’s the spirit they’ve built The Collab on.
Their name says it all—The Collab. It’s a space where abundance thrives over scarcity, where we lift each other up instead of competing for the same slice of the pie.
Celebrating International Women’s Month
It couldn’t be better timing for this spotlight on The Collab, as we’re right in the middle of International Women’s Month. Emma and Fabi are gearing up for an amazing International Women’s Day celebration on March 8th. There will be panelists, food, drinks, and even a photographer to capture the memories. It’s the perfect way to bring together women from all walks of life, celebrate our collective wins, and create even more connections.
And if you’ve been thinking about checking out The Collab, they offer memberships and day passes so you can see what it’s all about. Whether you’re a freelancer, a small business owner, or just someone who needs a quiet spot to work, you’ll feel right at home.
A Space for Everyone
One of the best things about The Collab is how inclusive it is. Yes, it’s focused on empowering women, but men are welcome too! Emma and Fabi have created a space that’s truly for everyone in the community—a place where connections can grow and collaboration can thrive.
Looking Forward
Emma and Fabi’s journey with The Collab is just getting started, and I can’t wait to see where they take it next. They’re committed to building a community rooted in support, personal growth, and collaboration, and I have no doubt that The Collab is going to continue being a positive force in Hendersonville.
If you’re in the area, I encourage you to swing by, grab a day pass, and see what The Collab is all about. You’ll feel the warmth and the spirit of collaboration as soon as you walk in the door.
