Heather McCroskey: Transforming Celebrations With Sign Gypsies

Today, I’m excited to introduce Heather McCroskey, the creative powerhouse behind Sign Gypsies Nashville. Heather’s journey from event planning to lighting up neighborhoods with her joyful, celebratory signs is all about passion, perseverance, and a sprinkle of chaos.

The “Chief Everything Officer”

Heather isn’t your average CEO. She calls herself the “Chief Everything Officer” — and it’s easy to see why. By day, she runs her event planning business, and by night, she manages Sign Gypsies Nashville. Her secret weapons? A little caffeine and a lot of heart.

From a Birthday Dream to a Community Celebration

Heather’s journey began in true Heather fashion: with a birthday. Known for throwing month-long birthday celebrations, she dreamed of creating a big, bold “Happy Birthday” sign for her 40th. When she couldn’t find what she wanted locally, her entrepreneurial instincts kicked in. Fast forward to April 2017, and she was launching Sign Gypsies Nashville with a college friend.

2020: A Year of Growth Amidst Challenge

When the pandemic hit in March 2020, the demand for Sign Gypsies Nashville soared. People were eager for creative ways to celebrate safely, and Heather’s business went from a few signs a month to a whopping 87 in just one month. Heather’s dedication and hustle kept her going through late nights and lots of family support.

Making Every Occasion Special

Today, Sign Gypsies Nashville is all about bringing joy to every occasion. From birthdays to graduations to heartfelt memorials, Heather and her team add a personal touch to every sign, constantly updating with fresh designs and themes.

A Unique Approach to Personalization

Heather’s commitment to personalization is what makes her work so special. She listens closely to her clients, capturing the essence of each celebration to create truly memorable displays. It’s this attention to detail that has become her signature touch.

Embracing the Hustle and Finding Joy

Juggling two careers isn’t easy, and Heather is candid about the challenges. But it’s clear that the chaos fuels her creativity. Heather thrives in the hustle, finding joy in the reactions of families and communities when they see her signs.

Cheers to Heather McCroskey and Sign Gypsies Nashville

Heather’s story is about more than just signs; it’s about spreading joy and connection across our communities. Here’s to many more years of celebration, creativity, and those colorful signs that make us smile! Cheers, Heather!
